Molly Finn is a values-based leader committed to making an impact through creative and thoughtful leadership. She brings these qualities to her role as Chief Compliance Officer for eBay Inc., where she is responsible for compliance governance and leads teams responsible for ethics, privacy and intellectual property. In addition to the traditional opportunities that come with a role of this kind, she is also able to utilize this platform to connect people and groups for the greater good – one of her primary values.

Molly joined eBay in 2007 as Employment Counsel and added ethics to her practice in 2011.  Since that time, she has integrated privacy and intellectual property compliance to her practice, becoming eBay’s first Chief Compliance Officer in 2018.  In her tenure at eBay she has built compliance functions from the ground up and led other compliance programs through growth and maturity.

In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Molly is the executive sponsor of the eBay legal department Pro Bono Committee. She served for two years as Secretary to the eBay Foundation.  Molly is committed to gender equality and racial and background diversity and is actively leading initiatives that support these movements.

Prior to eBay, Molly worked at Cisco Systems and a start-up focused on semi-conductor technologies.

Molly received her undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College and a JD/MBA from Santa Clara University.  She is a member of the California bar.
