Mame Traore is the Senior Associate of Stewardship and Donor Relations on the Philanthropy team at World Food Program USA, where she builds and nurtures relationships with major donors to help advance the fight against global hunger. In this role, she develops thoughtful engagement strategies and stewardship experiences that deepen donor connection to WFP’s mission and impact.

Previously, Mame served as an intern on WFP USA’s Institutional Partnerships team, supporting strategic initiatives and helping identify opportunities to grow partnerships across sectors. Mame holds a BA in International Affairs with a minor in Public Health from Kennesaw State University, along with certificates in Intelligence & Homeland Security and International Law. Fluent in Spanish, French, and Wolof, she brings a global perspective shaped by her academic background and volunteer experiences in Senegal. She is driven by a passion for global development and a commitment to creating meaningful, lasting change through her work.

Outside of her professional life, Mame loves to travel and give back to the communities that have shaped her into who she is today. Mame is based in Washington, DC.
