Karey Haywood is the Senior Director for the Office of the President at World Food Program USA. She oversees executive operations, leads coordination for organizational strategic priorities, and serves as liaison between senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Karey has spent her career in humanitarian assistance, serving in communications, program management, and leadership roles at USAID and the Department of State. In recent years, she has acted in chief of staff and senior advisor positions for global teams and portfolios exceeding $4 billion. Karey has also led multiple humanitarian response teams in the Middle East and West Africa.
She holds an MA in International Conflict Studies from King’s College London and a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
