The Zoetis Foundation has been a proud partner of World Food Program USA since 2023, helping connect livestock farmers and pastoral communities in Kenya and Ethiopia to the financial tools and veterinary services they need to thrive in the face of rising climate and economic shocks. Â
Through a first-of-its kind partnership, the Zoetis Foundation has helped the World Food Programme address food insecurity and close critical gaps in financial and veterinary services among livestock farmers. With this support, farmers can keep their animals healthy, protecting their community’s access to food and building long-term resilience to climate shocks.Â
This project has already reached more than 150,000 people through a collaborative approach that engages the private sector, prioritizes digital solutions and strengthens local food systems. In 2025, the Zoetis Foundation expanded its partnership to reach pastoral communities in Somalia while continuing its focus in Kenya.Â
World Food Program USA is grateful to the Zoetis Foundation for helping bring this signature program to life and continuing to support its growth.Â
