Hundreds of thousands of people are still displaced from their homes, leaving them vulnerable to brutal winter conditions. WFP is scaling up to reach families who have been cut off from lifesaving aid, but we need more food to reach everyone.

Conflict

Relentless conflict has created a hunger crisis in Gaza. While the October ceasefire and improved humanitarian access have offset famine conditions, the situation remains dire: Three in four Gazans are still facing extreme hunger. More than 730,000 people are displaced, many living in makeshift shelters.

Rising Prices & Poverty

Gaza already faced high poverty rates before the recent escalation of conflict. The ongoing violence has pushed more Gazans below the poverty line while food prices rise at an alarming rate. The collapse of local food systems has further exacerbated the crisis.
