Rachel Cutter leads the Prospect Research team at WFP USA, acting as a thought partner in formulating and implementing strategies related to building robust portfolios and generating qualified fundraising leads. Through identification, research, data acquisition and analysis, and relationship mapping, Rachel and her team deepen the organization’s institutional knowledge of its donors and prospects to meet its goals for prospecting, fundraising, engagement, communications, and stewardship.
After over a decade of work at nonprofits, Rachel has experience in development operations, donor care, relationship management, and grant writing and management. She most recently worked in business development at Living Goods, supporting efforts to provide lifesaving, quality health care to thousands of families in Kenya and Uganda. Rachel also previously had roles in development and community outreach at Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), the National Kidney Foundation, and organizations working with individuals experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. She holds a B.A. in Global Studies and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Rachel lives with her family in the San Franciso Bay Area, where she enjoys exploring local parks and reading as many books as she can.
