As Director, Communications, Toula manages World Food Program USA’s Media & PR Team in support of WFP USA’s strategic priorities for brand awareness, thought leadership and fundraising. She oversees a communications portfolio that includes media relations, events, thought leadership, executive visibility and partner communications, with a focus on raising awareness and support for the World Food Programme’s hunger-relief mission and amplifying the support of our corporate and institutional partners and celebrity advocates.

For nearly 20 years, Toula’s career has focused on cause marketing and social impact initiatives in both the nonprofit and corporate sector. Prior to joining WFP USA, she was at Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), where she focused on raising awareness of the public health epidemic of food allergies, in addition to helping advance critical advocacy, research, and quality of life initiatives on behalf of the 32M Americans with food allergies. At Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, Toula developed and implemented communications programs on behalf of government, non-profit and corporate clients. She is a proud Magna Cum Laude graduate of American University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications and minor in Political Science.

A native Houstonian and proud Greek-American, Toula resides in the DC suburbs with her family and beloved mini-Labradoodle. She’s an avid reader, cook, and traveler.
