HUNGER EMERGENCY

Despite the ceasefire, at least 1.6 million people are facing dangerous levels of hunger in the Gaza Strip, and fighting continues. Hundreds of thousands of people are still displaced from their homes, leaving them vulnerable to brutal winter conditions. WFP is scaling up to reach families who have been cut off from lifesaving aid, but we need more food to reach everyone.

WFP's Work in Gaza

The World Food Programme (WFP) has worked tirelessly to adapt its operations to the changing conditions on the ground. While there have been pockets of progress at times, the humanitarian needs in Gaza have never been greater. We need the ceasefire to hold so we can operate at scale and reach families in urgent need.
