Valentina Paz Lara Sanchez

Prior to joining WFP USA, she was a Program Development Officer at Relief International working with global, regional, and country teams to secure institutional funding for humanitarian and development programs in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.  Valentina also supported regional infection prevention and control and influenza projects, and response to humanitarian and public health emergencies in Latin American and Caribbean countries at the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization.

She has a BS in International Studies from Spring Hill College and an MS in International Development from Tulane University and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.
