Melissa Zenaty is the Sr. Director of Philanthropy for World Food Program USA. Based in California, she is responsible for building strong partnerships, working with individual donors and expanding WFP USA’s network across the West Coast.
Prior to World Food Program USA Melissa was Major Gifts Officer at Living Goods where she successfully doubled revenue from individual donors. Before that, she worked at The Asia Foundation where she coordinated the organization’s largest private sector fundraising campaign to date. Melissa started her nonprofit career in northern Thailand at Center for Girls, a small, grassroots organization combating gender-based violence and human trafficking where she still serves today as an advisor and consultant.
Melissa holds a B.A. in Sociology from San Diego State University and a M.A. in International Relations from Webster University, Bangkok.
