Lisa Burgess is the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships for World Food Program USA.
Lisa is a fundraiser, marketer, designer, and entrepreneur. She has brand-building experience from Patagonia and Starbucks, and fundraising experience from World Vision and Habitat for Humanity International. As an entrepreneur, Lisa was the co-founder and CEO of Zebra Mix, an award-winning CPG company with national sales and media placement. While working as the Director of Retail Fundraising for World Vision, Lisa built a successful retail channel with 100+ pop-up locations selling charity products. This experience taught her that people want to give and make a difference. It’s our job as fundraisers to create an impactful experience.
Lisa received an executive certificate in Strategic Fundraising from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Business Analytics certificate from the Warton School and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. She lives in Seattle with her two daughters, husband and chocolate lab Kayak.
