Kathleen Gerrity serves as Executive Assistant to the President & CEO Barron Segar, supporting executive operations, organizational priorities, and key stakeholder engagement.
Before joining WFP USA, Kathleen worked on the Africa team at the Milken Institute, where she managed team operations, supported international events, and provided executive support to senior leadership. Previously, Kathleen held roles at USAID in the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance and the Bureau for Legislative and Public Affairs, and has worked with international organizations and global NGOs. She brings more than five years of experience in executive support, project management, and operations coordination across the international development and humanitarian sectors.
Kathleen holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of South Carolina. Outside of work, Kathleen enjoys living in Washington, D.C., exploring the city on her bike, and reading.
