Jordan Alvarez joined World Food Program USA in 2023, working to build relationships and support the philanthropy of individuals, families, and family foundations. Jordan enjoys meeting with donors in person and serving as a trusted resource, helping donors deliver lifesaving food assistance to the people WFP serves.

Jordan transitioned into the nonprofit industry in 2014. Through various fundraising roles, Jordan has dedicated her work to advancing social impact through nonprofit organizations focused on child welfare, poverty alleviation, housing stability, food security, and social justice. Jordan earned a certificate in fundraising from New York University and completed her bachelor’s degree at Eastern Florida State College in organizational and nonprofit management.

Jordan enjoys theme parks, attractions, her local library, exploring springs, parks, nature trails and her Doberman, Bruno. Additionally, Jordan volunteers on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Central Florida, serving as the 2025 communications chair and the 2026 vice president of communications. Jordan is based in Orlando, Florida.
