Barron Segar
Barron is the President & CEO of WFP USA. He brings over 20 years of experience in growing philanthropic and cause marketing platforms. Prior to WFP USA, Barron served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at UNICEF USA.
Rebecca Middleton
Rebecca is the Chief Advocacy and Engagement Officer for WFP USA, bringing 20 years of experience in policy, advocacy and strategy. Rebecca started her career in 1997 in Washington, DC, spending five years as a Senior Legislative Assistant for her hometown congressman.
Chase Sova
Chase is the Senior Director of Public Policy and Research at WFP USA. He has professional experience in the areas of climate change and agricultural development with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and International Center for Tropical Agriculture.

Our celebrity partners are incredible humanitarians who leverage their platform, resources and influence to advocate on behalf of the world’s hungriest people. Goodwill Ambassadors and high-level supporters partner with us in a variety of ways to raise awareness and funds for the mission of the U.N. World Food Programme.
The Weeknd
Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye began his partnership with WFP when he helped raise funds for victims of the Beirut explosion in 2020. In 2021, The Weeknd became a WFP Goodwill Ambassador and launched the XO Humanitarian Fund to stave off hunger and famine globally. Tesfaye, his partners and fans have raised $6.5 million to-date for the Fund. Most recently, Tesfaye has directed $2 million from the Fund toward WFP’s humanitarian response efforts in Gaza.
Andrew Zimmern
Emmy-winning TV personality, chef and writer Andrew Zimmern is a strong advocate for hunger relief and sustainable food systems. He has been a panelist expert on our Us Against Hunger series and has advocated online for WFP relief efforts. Andrew was announced as a Goodwill Ambassador in 2021, and has since published an article in the Washington Post on his passion to eliminate food waste and support for WFP.
Kate Hudson
Golden Globe winning actress and entrepreneur Kate Hudson was first introduced to WFP when she helped raise funds for school meals in 2015. She later traveled with WFP to Cambodia to see our work firsthand in 2017. Kate was announced as a Goodwill Ambassador in 2018, and helped start the Cross the Distance campaign in 2020 to raise funds to feed the world’s hungriest. She has consistently advocated for WFP hunger relief online and had an interview with Vogue to discuss her role as Goodwill Ambassador.
Eitan Bernath
Eitan Bernath is an award-winning chef, author, TV personality, entertainer, and social justice activist. He is the chief executive officer of Eitan Productions, the Principal Culinary Contributor for the Daytime Emmy® award-winning Drew Barrymore Show on CBS, and is a contributor to The Washington Post, Food & Wine, Saveur, Delish, and The Kitchn. As a High Level Supporter for WFP, Eitan is leveraging his audience of over 10 million followers and energetic personality, along with his expertise in food and cooking to bring younger audiences into the global effort to solve hunger.
Michael Kors
Renowned fashion designer Michael Kors began his partnership with WFP in 2013 when he launched the Watch Hunger Stop campaign to help feed children through our school meals program. He was named a Goodwill Ambassador in 2015. Michael Kors was given the McGovern-Dole Leadership Award by WFPUSA in 2016 for his ongoing work in fighting global hunger.
