Partnership Spotlights
Thank you to our partners
Our corporate partners are key to building a Zero Hunger world. They are often the difference between a child going to bed hungry or receiving a school meal. This year, seven partners stepped up to join our ERASE HUNGER™ campaign and send school meals to children around the world.
Why School Meals, Why Erase Hunger
We launched the ERASE HUNGER™ campaign because kids are paying the price of the global hunger crisis. Every day, millions of children walk into school on an empty stomach, which makes it impossible to learn, much less thrive.
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) works in 57 countries to reach over 18 million children with school meals, snacks and take-home rations. WFP is the largest provider of school meals and knows for many children, a school meal may be the only food they eat each day.
Thanks to our ERASE HUNGER™ partners, we were able to provide life-saving food to children and their families and raise awareness around the importance of school meals.
