Gloria Walker
Vice President, Accounting and Finance
World Food Program USA
As Vice President of Accounting and Finance, Gloria Walker plays a key role establishing financial policies, procedures and controls at the World Food Program USA in order to maximize the return on the organization’s financial assets. Gloria is also responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. She manages many of the organization’s day-to-day accounting and works closely with the senior leadership team to develop and communicate financial information that enables management and the Board to make strategic decisions.
Gloria has extensive experience in accounting and finance at major non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the World Food Program USA, she worked as the Senior Accounting and Finance Officer at the International Budget Partnership and as the Associate Director of Finance at The Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research.
During her career, Gloria has focused on leading initiatives designed to increase efficiency and foster collaboration. She holds a BS degree in accounting from Hunter College in her hometown of New York City.
