Rose’s Luxury

Sekina Hassen (right) and her fellow first-graders at Udassa Repi Elementary school eat porridge every morning at school. Thanks to WFP, they can focus on their studies instead of their empty stomachs.

Even before opening his award-winning restaurants, Washington, DC-based Chef Aaron Silverman dedicated his time and expertise to help raise awareness and resources for WFP USA, hosting pop-up dinners around town and donating to WFP’s school meals program. Silverman knows hunger is a solvable problem and that everyone can play a part. That’s why for every meal eaten at Rose’s Luxury, 25 cents is donated to WFP USA to help feed a hungry child around the world. As a loyal partner since 2015, Rose’s Luxury has provided WFP USA with more than 220,000 meals.
