Rose’s Luxury

Sekina Hassen (right) and her fellow first-graders eat porridge every morning at Udassa Repi Elementary School. Thanks to WFP, they can focus on their studies instead of their empty stomachs.

Even before opening his award-winning restaurants, Washington, DC-based Chef Aaron Silverman dedicated his time and expertise to help raise awareness and resources for WFP USA, hosting pop-up dinners around town and donating to WFP’s school meals program. Silverman knows hunger is a solvable problem and that everyone can play a part. That’s why for every meal eaten at Rose’s Luxury, 25 cents is donated to WFP USA to help feed a hungry child around the world. As a loyal partner since 2015, Rose’s Luxury has provided WFP USA with more than 220,000 meals.
