Ways to Give

Hunger is the world's greatest solvable problem.
Be a part of the solution

When disaster strikes and hours can mean the difference between life and death, the United Nations World Food Program is one of the first on the ground to provide life-saving assistance. When the emergency is over our work is just beginning. We help families become self-sufficient, children get an education and communities better withstand future food crises.

We are powered entirely by your donations. WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. Last year, WFP reached more than 97 million people in 80 countries with food assistance — but we need supporters like you to help us end hunger for good.

  • $26 can provide a girl with daily take-home rations for half a year, giving families a reason to send their daughters to school in places where poverty and inequality mean that girls often don’t receive an education.
  • $50 can provide a child with a healthy school meal for an entire year, giving poor families a reason to send their children to school and giving kids both a meal and an education.
  • $72 can provide a family with a month's worth of nutritious food in a humanitarian crisis like Syria.
  • $100 can provide ten babies with the right food to prevent malnutrition for one month during the critical first 1,000 days of life, when a child’s mental and physical development is determined.

Any contribution you can make brings us one step closer to ending world hunger.

Crisis in Syria

Conflict in Syria has forced millions of people to flee their homes, creating a humanitarian crisis in which food is a top priority. WFP aims to bring food assistance to up to 6.5 million Syrians between now and the end of the year, including 4 million people inside Syria and 2.5 million refugees in neighbouring countries. Food assistance goes to families, many who fled their homes with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and are now homeless or living in tent camps in neighboring countries. Your donation can mean everything to a family caught in the crossfire.
