Here at the WFP USA headquarters in Washington D.C., we're gearing up for the launch of the 2014 Live Below the Line challenge. This year, we're teaming up with schools, clubs, companies, families—you name it—to raise awareness and funds to fight global hunger.
But our most important partner is YOU.
We are recruiting you to help us change the lives of millions of hungry children this spring. Are you up for the challenge?
The Challenge: From April 28 - May 2, 2014, live below the global poverty line by eating and drinking on less than $1.50 a day—just like the 1.2 billion people on our planet who live in extreme poverty and hunger every day.
The Cause: Just $250 can provide 1,000 school meals to children in the world’s poorest countries. School meals have the power to break the cycle of hunger and poverty by giving children the chance to learn, grow and reach their full potential.
Your Voice Matters: This campaign is social! You can raise funds, share stories and recruit friends to be part of the challenge. We encourage you to mobilize your networks to join the campaign. By sharing your passion for solving hunger, you inspire others to action.
Join us and be the generation to end hunger.
