Fraud Prevention
WFP USA adheres to internet industry standards and best practices when it comes to ensuring your online giving is safe and secure.
WFP USA grants donations to the WFP throughout the year and designates funds to specific WFP programs and/or country offices once the total contributions exceed a mutually agreed upon threshold for distribution.
A special note about emergency funding: Funds received in response to a specific WFP emergency operation will be deployed toward that specific emergency and not reserved for future emergencies or work in other parts of the world.

We will always use your gifts for the purposes for which they were given. If for any reason your gift falls outside of WFP USA’s scope of work, we will, to the best of our ability, inform you of the change and update you on where your gift is needed most.
We always provide our donors with appropriate acknowledgment, tax statements and recognition. We handle all donations – no matter their size – with respect and confidentiality to the full extent provided by the law.
We wouldn’t be here without your support, and everyone who works for or represents WFP USA is committed to showing you their appreciation through friendliness and professionalism. If we contact you seeking donations, we will always make our role clear as a volunteer, employee or hired solicitor. And, if you don’t want to hear from us for a while, WFP USA will provide the opportunity for you to remove your name from any mailing or email lists.
